Team & Role
The U.S. Renewable Natural Gas desk trades a high value, Over The Counter commodity market that interacts closely with regulated biofuels markets and rapidly growing demand for decarbonization products. The individual in this role is directly responsible for evaluating new markets within and outside the US, identifying RNG trading opportunities in Canada, UK, and derivative products like bioLNG, Hydrogen, and biomethanol. This is a direct commercial role with PnL generated tied to this individual.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate trading opportunities in non-US markets, with emphasis on Canada and UK
• Evaluate trading opportunities in derivative products made from RNG, including bioLNG, Hydrogen, biomethanol, ammonia, and others
• Originate, structure, and execute transactions associated with those new market / product evaluations.
• Work closely with US RNG traders to take advantage of supply lines and arbitrage opportunities between markets
• Collaborate with on-desk policy and fundamental analysts to vet new markets and RNG-derived products
What does a rewarding career mean to you?
Key Requirements
• 5+ years in renewable fuels markets with at least 3 years in a primary trading, origination, or business development role.
• Experience with RNG markets in Canada and UK is highly preferred.
• Able to identify, originate, and structure deals in non-US renewable fuels markets
• Excellent written and oral communications skills; strong negotiation / contracting skills and experience
• Displays outstanding interpersonal skills, excelling in collaborative efforts within dynamic team environments, while skillfully cultivating direct working relationships
