ABOUT OPERATIONS

The operations function forms the backbone of any company. At STX, the Operations team, which comprises IT, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Internal Controls, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, and Middle Office, works closely with all other teams and desks to ensure that STX continues to perform and deliver at an exceptionally high level. As a critical partner in the business, Operations also guarantees compliance with all the relevant rules and regulations. Moreover, the Operations team works collaboratively to make sure that STX has the necessary structures and processes in place to grow and develop further in new products, industries, and markets.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for reviewing Tax data output coming from our reporting systems to ensure correctness of information included in our tax returns.
Preparing and reviewing of CIT and VAT returns and preparing tax working papers.
Working with third-party service providers to ensure filings are completed accurately and timely.
Periodically reconcile tax accounts.
Providing guidance and assistance to other teams on tax questions.
Preparing and reviewing of Transfer Pricing documentation.
Researching and interpreting changing tax legislation, developing strategies, and sharing knowledge with the team.

Key Requirements

5+ years of relevant work experience in Tax, preferably some years as in-house tax specialist.
Experience with both direct and indirect taxation is a plus.
Experience with EU VAT system is a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems.
Master’s degree in the areas of Tax Law or Fiscal Economics.
Fluent in English
Available for at least 32 hours per week
