TEAM AND ROLE:

As Staff Product Manager for the Trade domain, you will own and evolve the core engine of our environmental commodities business, designing how we price, transact, and manage positions at scale. You will define the strategic product direction across multiple teams, aligning trading workflows with platform capabilities to deliver scalable, automated, and auditable solutions that meet the needs of our clients and growing market demand.

This is a high-leverage role where you’ll lead cross-cutting initiatives, unify trade-related product lines, and act as the strategic counterpart to business, risk, and engineering leads. Your domain ownership will shape the way our firm operates and competes across carbon, renewable energy, and environmental assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product domain: Set the vision and strategic roadmap for Trade across deal capture, pricing, position management, trade execution, and risk control.
  • Unify & scale: Drive cross-product coherence across trading tools, internal systems, and data workflows to deliver a seamless, auditable, and automated trade lifecycle.
  • Partner with the Business: Work with Trading, Legal, Ops, and Compliance leaders to translate regulatory, operational, and commercial complexity into robust product strategy.
  • Deliver organizational impact: Lead multi-squad initiatives that accelerate deal flow, reduce friction, and improve visibility, accuracy, and control across trade execution and reconciliation.
  • Elevate Product practice: Mentor Senior PMs and act as a thought leader across the product organization, shaping standards, systems, and product culture.
  • Operate strategically: Balance short-term delivery with long-term architecture, platform scalability, and operational efficiency—always tying back to business value and client outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • Deep product experience (8+ years), ideally within trading systems, financial infrastructure, or B2B SaaS platforms at scale.
  • Strong domain fluency in how trades are originated, priced, confirmed, and settled. Bonus points if applied to commodities, carbon, RECs, or energy markets.
  • Demonstrated success driving outcomes across multiple teams, domains, or business lines—especially where alignment and complexity were key.
  • Strong systems thinker with a strategic mind, but also comfortable going deep into operational edge cases, data models, or regulatory detail.
  • Influence and leadership: you can align diverse stakeholders and create momentum behind strategic product investments.
  • Executional sharpness: you know how to turn a bold product vision into prioritized delivery without losing sight of quality, performance, or controls.
