As Head of Human Capital Development & Culture within the People & Culture team, you will lead a team of professionals and together shape and scale key areas like performance, compensation, leadership development, culture, wellbeing, and engagement – some well underway, some still relatively new. You bring business savviness, HR expertise, and an entrepreneurial and data-driven mindset to deliver smart, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Shape, drive and executive the people strategy to support business growth – enhancing quality and efficiency across key HR areas in line with business needs and pace.
- Lead, inspire and challenge your team of ~6 experts, providing clear direction, coaching, accountability and a high-performing team culture
- Own and further evolve core expertise domains, like performance management, compensation, job/career framework, learning and leadership development, and building the STX culture through i.e. further embedding the connection, STX values, wellbeing, DIB, and Amsterdam office management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders being a pragmatic and trusted partner, to align business needs and priorities, deliver impact, and embed strong, business-savvy people solutions and interaction
Build and Define the Future
Key Requirements
- At least 3 – 5 years of managerial experience, preferably in scale-ups/fast-paced and international environments, with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, and you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Business-savvy and people-oriented leader, with a sharp eye for how people initiatives align with organizational goals and needs, strong at stakeholder management are confident in navigating complex business interactions.
- Expertise experience in several of the focus areas listed above – like learning and leadership development, performance, compensation, and/or engagement.
- Provide clear direction while constructively challenging your team to grow and innovate. You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset and known for proposing pragmatic, efficient solutions that deliver meaningful, scalable impact.
- A confident communicator/facilitator, and fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
