Your success story starts here…

TEAM AND ROLE:

At STX, we believe people are at the heart of our mission and success. As People Development & Culture Lead, you will lead a team of professionals and shape and scale key areas such as learning, leadership development, performance, culture, wellbeing, workplace, and engagement, some well established, others still being built.

You combine strong business acumen with deep expertise across People development domains and a pragmatic, data-driven mindset to deliver scalable solutions.

You will drive the People Development & Culture agenda, playing a central role in building leadership capability, strengthening culture, and elevating overall STX performance. Your impact will extend beyond your own team, actively shaping a high-performing culture across the organization.

This is not a traditional HR leadership role. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, and commercially driven environment, you are expected to bring both strategic depth and hands-on execution. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting high standards, and delivering tangible business impact through people. This role is suited for someone who brings clear ownership across multiple development domains and consistently translates expertise into high-quality, practical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the People Development & Culture strategy aligned with business priorities
  • Lead and develop a team of 5-7 specialists, fostering a high-performing, expertise-led environment (including office management)
  • Own and evolve core domains, with a focus on:
    • Learning & Development (incl. Leadership Development)
    • Performance management
    • Culture and engagement
    • Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB)
  • Act as a content leader, setting direction and raising quality across these areas
  • Design and implement scalable frameworks and programs that strengthen organizational effectiveness
  • Partner with senior stakeholders as a trusted, pragmatic advisor in a demanding, fast-moving business context
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve impact and employee experience

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience leading teams, including a minimum of 5 years in a people management role with accountability for team performance, development, and delivery (not solely content expertise)
  • Experience leading teams in fast-paced, international environments (scale-up experience is a plus)
  • Proven track record across multiple people development domains, especially:
    • Learning & Leadership Development
    • Performance Management
    • Culture and Engagement
    • Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB)
  • Ability to operate as a subject-matter leader, combining depth with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions end-to-end
  • Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills; able to operate credibly in a commercially driven environment
  • A leadership style that develops others while driving clarity, ownership, and accountability
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills; fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Competitive remuneration package
  • Pension scheme contributions
  • Strong focus on personal and professional development
  • Sport and training opportunities
  • Assistance with relocation to the respective office location

DIVERSITY STATEMENT

We encourage and welcome applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to enhance our team and contribute to a more inclusive work environment. Diversity, inclusion, and belonging are more than just concepts. They are part of our everyday work culture, ensuring employees feel welcomed and build meaningful connections.
At STX, we ask applicants to think holistically about roles. If the role sounds exciting and a great fit for you, but some of the criteria or required experience doesn’t 100% line up, we still encourage you to apply!
