From Goals to Actions: TARGET SETTING & COMMITMENT

Set targets aligned with science.

Science-based targets show companies and financial institutions how much and how quickly they need to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions to prevent the worst effects of climate change.

The Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by enabling organizations to set science-based emissions reduction targets.
Establish a clearly defined trajectory to reduce emissions in line with the Paris Agreement targets.

Why align emission reduction targets to science?

How to set Science-Based targets?

Submit the commitment letter to the Science-Based Target Initiative, and once your organization passes the due diligence process, it will be recognized as committed in the SBTi website, and its partner websites.

1. Commit

Submit the commitment letter to the Science Based target Initiative. Once your organization passes the due diligence process, it will be recognized as committed in the SBTi website, and its partner websites.

2. Develop a target

Within the first 24 months, the company should develop a science-based objective that meets the SBTi criteria and submit it for validation.

3. Submit your target

We will support you during the submission process until official validation.

4. Communicate your target

Once your target is validated, your targets will be communicated by the SBTi. We will also help you with your communication.

5. Disclose your progress
