Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design core systems: You are hands-on during implementation, helping service teams bootstrap maintainable, scalable systems and guiding them through technical decisions and trade-offs.
- Drive resilient, scalable design: You make the hard trade-offs and present them as clear choices, ensuring systems are both robust and future-proof.
- Turn ambiguity into clarity: Work across teams and functions to align on shared goals, translating unclear ideas into solid technical concepts.
- Full-stack experience with breadth: You work comfortably across the stack—including infrastructure as code, and have a general understanding of data engineering concepts.
- Collaborate across the business: Partner with Trading, Legal, Risk, and Ops to deliver thoughtful, well-architected solutions to real-world challenges.
- Elevate and innovate: Mentor others, set architectural standards, and embrace emerging technologies (including LLMs) to improve workflows and push the boundaries of individual impact.
Build and Define the Future
Key Requirements
- 8+ years in software development within product-led companies, ideally in fintech or B2B SaaS at scale.
- Strong in TypeScript for modern frontend development, with solid backend experience in Python and Node.js.
- Deep knowledge of core AWS services, including serverless and infrastructure as code (e.g., CDK), plus experience with Kinesis/Kafka and Kubernetes.
- Track record in driving best practices, security, quality, or architectural standards, as a bar-raiser or champion.
- A strong communicator who thinks beyond problem-solving and collaborates effectively across teams.
- Bonus: Experience with trading workflows, commodities, or carbon/energy markets.
