TEAM AND ROLE:
We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Financial Controller. In this role you will ensure we meet our internal and external financial reporting requirements. This is great opportunity to shape our future way of working via financial system implementations and contribute via existing projects and newly to be identified projects.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Manage Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate, adequate and timely financial reporting for multiple entities.
- Month-End & Reporting: Coordinate and monitor month-end close processes, and prepare monthly management accounts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Projects & Process Improvement: Contribute to various projects, initiatives to enhance internal controls and operational efficiency and ad-hoc requests
- Audit & Compliance Support: Coordinate the preparation of the statutory annual accounts, ensure finalization and facilitate the external audit process.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience & Expertise: 3+ years of relevant financial accounting and reporting experience of which minimal 2 years experience in month-end closing. Commodity trading environment experience is a plus.
- Qualifications: Recognized professional accounting qualification and proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical (eg: Excel) and problem-solving capabilities to support accurate reporting and decision-making. Data handling skills is a plus.
- Work Approach: Hands-on, self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
- Communication: Fluency in English, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
