TEAM AND ROLE:
As an AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we work, applying cutting-edge technologies like Large Language Models (LLMs) to streamline operations, enhance data intelligence, and drive real business value. You’ll be part of a growing technology function that’s helping us evolve from a traditional cost centre to a true strategic partner. By building intelligent systems, automating key workflows, and embedding AI into the heart of our operations, you’ll help STX move faster, work smarter, and make an even greater impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered tools and agents using LLMs to support document processing, summarization, and workflow automation.
- Build and maintain multi-agent systems that drive intelligent automation using platforms like LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
- Integrate AI capabilities into our cloud environment (AWS preferred) to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and production-ready.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation.
- Implement MLOps practices for continuous deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of machine learning and AI models.
Build and Define the Future
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, or data-focused software engineering roles.
- Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Deep understanding of LLM architectures, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and building AI agents.
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, but Azure or GCP is also acceptable), and exposure to big data tools.
- Working knowledge of MLOps, including model versioning, pipeline orchestration, and production deployment.
