LCFS & ZEV Credit programs

Turning Regulatory Compliance into Revenue Opportunities

Decarbonization in transportation is accelerating, driven by regulatory frameworks that incentivize cleaner fuels and zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs). The Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) and Advanced Clean Truck ZEV Credit Programs (ACT ZEV credits) are two key mechanisms helping businesses meet sustainability goals while unlocking financial benefits.

What we Offer

ACT ZEV Program

The ZEV Credit Program is designed to promote the adoption of zero-emission vehicles. Mandated by states like California, it requires automakers to sell a certain percentage of ZEVs. If they fail to meet these targets, they must buy credits from manufacturers exceeding requirements.

Low Carbon Fuel Standard

The LCFS is a market-based program designed to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from transportation fuels. Adopted in California and similar to programs in Oregon, Washington, and Canada, it sets annual carbon intensity (CI) targets for fuels. Companies using low-carbon fuels generate LCFS credits, which can be sold to obligated parties needing to meet their compliance targets.
