The focus is on technologies that can make a substantial impact in sectors such as electricity generation and other industries that contribute significantly to CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHO CAN APPLY?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Subsidies are available to <strong>all companies operating plants that emit more than 10,000 tons of CO2 annually. <\/strong>The program also includes specific criteria for electricity and green hydrogen production, adhering to the EU taxonomy standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO APPLY BEFORE AUGUST 7TH?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for financing under Klimaschutzvertr\u00e4ge, <strong>companies must participate in a competitive bidding process<\/strong>. These companies are required to submit their initial investment plans by the specified deadline, which, in this case, is the <strong>7th of August 2023<\/strong>. The selection of recipients is based on an auction model that prioritizes the reduction of one ton of CO2.
