Team & Role;  

The U.S. Renewable Natural Gas desk trades a high value, Over The Counter commodity market that interacts closely with regulated biofuels markets and rapidly growing demand for decarbonization products.  This role offers an opportunity to study commodity trading and renewables, complex systems for arbitrage, and an accelerated track to career paths in Trading, Operations, Analytics, and more within the energy commodities space.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide commercial and logistical support for the Renewable Natural Gas Desk 
  • Responsible for volume allocations and collaboration with middle/back office for implementation of previously executed trades 
  • Directly work with third party gas schedulers for physical product movements 
  • Engage in trading platforms for related credits (EMTS, MRETs, LRT) in conjunction with the Trading Operations team

Key Requirements

 

  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience 
  • Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, math, business or other related major 
  • Display outstanding interpersonal skills, excelling in collaborative efforts within dynamic team environments, while skilfully cultivating direct working relationships 
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task 
  • Advanced Excel Skills preferred

Compensation and Benefits

STX intends on offering the selected candidate a competitive base salary within the range of $80,000-$100,000, based on a number of objective factors such as relevant experience, holistic skillset, and applicable licenses and certifications. The candidate may also be eligible for discretionary compensation as determined annually within the company fiscal year.
