Key Responsibilities

Verify incoming/outgoing deliveries, maintain updated inventory and mass balances (stock files), and track open deals to ensure timely deliveries within agreed terms.
Ensure accurate execution of environmental commodities deliveries, support trading strategies, and calculate/update prices for physical gas deals in the system.
Act as the main contact for inquiries, collaborating with Portfolio Managers, Trade Support Operations, Finance, Risk, and Compliance to streamline information flow and analysis.
Ensure accuracy of PoS received, collect and organize all necessary documentation for audits, and manage transfers, redemptions, and expiring volumes across registries and countries.
Collaborate with front office teams to understand and, when needed, challenge their strategies while contributing to regional/global consistency, efficiency, and automation improvements.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Financial Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Quantitative studies, or another Quantitative discipline including 2 to 5 years of working experience in a similar position within a trading environment or similar industry
Basic understanding of commodity trading/financial markets
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables) and Exposure to VBA & Power Query is advantageous
Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Based in Amsterdam and fluent in English
