We’re looking for a Senior Policy Advisor to join our business and the extremely dynamic market we operate in, and to embark on a journey with us towards a better tomorrow.
TEAM AND ROLE:
Our global Policy team engages with relevant energy market and policy stakeholders to support our business units (squares) with forward-looking policy assessments. You will be responsible for expanding our policy engagement in key European markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide policy expertise that support our leaders in their commercial strategy work, their decision making, their market understanding and, ultimately, in their ability to spot and seize new market opportunities in markets where, in many cases, policy is the key driver.
- Inform market modelling, commercial decisions and strategies through your policy analysis.
- Expand STX´s policy intelligence capabilities and engage with key policy stakeholders in relevant European markets (policy-makers, NGOs, associations, initiatives and other industry stakeholders).
- Insert STX´s views into relevant policy discourses and drive STX though leadership in environmental commodities and energy markets
What does a rewarding career mean to you?
Key Requirements
- 7 + years work experience in PA/policy related roles for corporations, associations or in politics/administration;
- Relevant (renewable) energy market experience and ideally, a background in both liquid and electric energy carriers.
- Broad set of language skills: English, German and French is essential.
- Very proactive networker (externally and internally) with the ability to work with high degree of independence.
- Solid policy analysis skills.
