We’re looking for a Sales Trader – Brazil to join our business and the extremely dynamic market we operate in, and to embark on a journey with us towards a better tomorrow.

As a Sales Trader, you play an important role in driving the business forward in Brazil and LATAM region. This role entails exposure to a broad spectrum of professionals at all levels, as well as to companies from various industries and markets. By working strategically to offer clients sustainable solutions, you genuinely help them move forward towards a greener future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing business, structuring strategic transactions and trades in Brazil
  • Taking the lead in executing trading strategies for Brazilian region
  • Be the first point of contact for the sales and origination team
  • Help the team structure and negotiate long term OTC contracts
  • Build and manage the risk of a forward book
  • Proposing new deal structures and transactions complying with market’s requirements
  • Conducting research of the international energy certificates market and translate developments into opportunities
  • Building strong connections with key counterparties
  • Being an expert in timing the market in order to get the best results by acting as a single point of contact for your customers
  • Conducting due diligence and investment research on relevant trading strategies

  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in sales or business development roles  
  • Exposure to environmental commodities market or renewable energy 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, or related fields. MBA will be a plus
  • Portuguese native and excellent command of English and Spanish
  • Commercial and entrepreneurial attitude, attentive and empathetic approach
  • Capacity to understand and negotiate complex OTC contracts
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
  • Collaborative work style
  • Living or willing to relocate to Mexico DF
