We’re looking for a Trader – Global EAC to join our I-REC desk on the extremely dynamic market we operate in, and to embark on a journey with us towards a better tomorrow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the first point of contact for the sales and origination teams
- Develop and execute successfully trading strategies
- Being an expert in timing the market
- Take on responsibility on managing the risk of the I-REC book while adhering to the given risk mandate
- Contribute in developing our trading and analytical tools and capabilities
- Building strong connections with key counterparties
- Helping to structure strategic transactions and trades and negotiate long-term OTC contracts
- Proposing new deal structures and transactions complying with the market’s requirements
- Researching the international energy certificates market and translating developments into opportunities
- Conducting due diligence and investment research on relevant trading strategies
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2-3 years of working experience within a trading or portfolio management role
- Exposure to the environmental commodities market or renewable energy is advantageous
- Have the capacity to understand and negotiate complex OTC contracts
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Affinity towards quantitative methods – programming skills advantageous (Python, R, VBA)
- Master’s degree
- Excellent command of English, an additional foreign language advantageous
- Commercial and entrepreneurial attitude
- Attentive and empathetic approach
- Collaborative work style
