ABOUT OPERATIONS
The operations function forms the backbone of any company. At STX, the Operations team, which comprises IT, Finance, Human Resources, and Middle Office, works closely with all other teams and desks to ensure that STX continues to perform and deliver at an exceptionally high level. As a critical partner in the business, Operations also guarantees compliance with all the relevant rules and regulations. Moreover, the Operations team works collaboratively to make sure that STX has the necessary structures and processes in place to grow and develop further in new products, industries, and markets.

ROLE OF A HRBP
You have a pivotal role as strategic oriented HR Business Partner. You are a trusted sparring partner for our managers in delivering their business strategies, ensuring they have the right people in at the right time, referring to topics like headcount forecasting, performance, development and succession. Just as guiding them on their management/leadership style, case handling, engagement and culture. You play an important role in aligning the People & Culture roadmap with our STX business objectives. This role is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves challenges and a scale-up environment that requires change management skills, ownership and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Become a trusted partner to managers in challenging and realizing their business plans, ensuring they have the right people in at the right time.
- Provide expertise and guidance on People matters (like performance, development, feedback, engagement, succession) to managers and support in complex case handling.
- Partner effectively with key stakeholders (i.e. Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Services, Payroll, Legal) to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains. Participate and drive cross-functional people projects and initiatives as needed.
- Together with the People & Culture teams, determine, implement, and execute (part of) the People & Culture strategy and roadmap, and ensure it is aligned with STX Group business objectives.
- Use data to influence change and recommend improvements to the business plans and employee experience.

Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in (strategic) HR Business Partnering, in a global and dynamic environment, having experience in different sorts of employee cases and interaction with sr management. Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Any other language is a plus.
- Experience in all facets of HR – both designing programs and executing them, including facilitating team sessions and working on projects like succession planning, internal mobility, and performance management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, used to interact with different levels in an organization.
- Shows ownership, knows when to step in and lead, can apply a strategic lens yet has a pragmatic mindset; a proved track record of driving organizational change.
- Experience in mixing strong business insight with HR know-how and creative problem-solving.
- Knowledge of Dutch labor and social laws (preferably also other European countries). Knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- A proven track record of rapid self-learning. You love to challenge the status quo in order to build the best experience for employees.
