ROLE OF A FRONT OFFICE QUANT
As a Front-Office Developer, you will be an essential part of the trading team. Working alongside our team of traders and analysts, you will be responsible for improving and developing our state-of-the-art pricing and risk analytics libraries for both Guarantees of Origin (GoOs) and Renewable Gas. By combining significant quantitative modelling and coding experience (acquired in in a trading environment) with a passion to solve complex mathematical problems, you will help us to further enhance our pricing and trading capabilities. Key Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of practical experience as a quant developer in a trading environment (e.g., having worked for a renowned commodity trading house, market making firm or the trading division of an investment bank).
- Significant experience in programming in Python, particularly in the areas of numerical optimization, quantitative finance, and econometrics.
- Proven track record of autonomously working on/leading development projects.
- A passion to understand and solve complex quantitative problems.
- A genuine excitement about markets and a willingness to gain a deep understanding of environmental commodity markets.
- A willingness to do highly impactful greenfield work.
- A highly quantitative academic background (e.g., a STEM or quantitative finance degree).
