Team & Role
We’re looking for a pro-active, analytical and ambitious Data Engineer who loves to work – and play hard to join our Technology Team at STX Group’s headquarters in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate is someone who is not only fluent in English, but who is also very excited about the idea of supporting our Amsterdam, Sweden, Singapore and the US based offices as well as other offices, and to embark on a journey with us towards a better tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and implementing improvements to our current data solutions.
- Design, build and improve robust and scalable ETL pipelines and a cloud-based data platform.
- Introduce automated data quality validation, monitoring and alerts to ensure high levels of reliability and accuracy of our data storages.
- Assist our BI team by designing and introducing a structured approach to creating automated reporting in a scalable way.
- Work with a variety of data sources to enhance internal data using third party solutions and APIs.
Build and Define the Future
Key Requirements
- 5+ years’ work experience in Data Engineering roles or similar including a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Python & SQL experience is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work in a team-based environment with a high degree of autonomy to complete tasks.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience with various AWS solutions, working with data warehouses; Experience with Kafka, Docker and Airflow is a plus
